Yes. We supply new pallet racking from major manufacturers (Ridg-U-Rak, Unarco, Interlake, Mecalux, Steel King) and quality used selective racking inspected to RMI/ANSI MH16.1 standards. Used systems typically save 40–60% versus new and are often sourced from regional NoVA government-contractor consolidations and Montgomery County pharma facility moves. We can also buy your surplus or decommissioned rack systems for cash.

Small installations of 20–30 bays typically complete in 1–3 days. A 200+ bay system for a large Route 28 or I-95 corridor distribution center usually runs 1–2 weeks with a full crew. Lead time includes concrete anchor cure time, slab core-testing where older DC or Anacostia building stock is involved, and coordination with forklift and sprinkler trades. Most in-stock installations can be scheduled the same week you call.

Most jurisdictions require stamped engineering drawings for rack with top-of-load above 12 ft. We prepare the full submittal package and shepherd it through plan review.

OSHA enforces racking safety under the General Duty Clause using ANSI MH16.1 (RMI) as the recognized industry standard, which calls for inspections at least annually by a qualified person. High-activity warehouses, cold storage, FDA-regulated pharma operations in the I-270 BioHealth corridor, and facilities with prior rack damage should inspect more frequently — quarterly to monthly. Daily visual checks by warehouse staff for new damage are also recommended. Virginia warehouses are subject to VOSH (Virginia’s state OSHA plan) in addition to federal standards.
